Book Talk with Hajia Salamatu Idris

Join us for our continuing series of Virtual Radcliffe Book Talks exploring recent publications whose subjects or authors have a connection with Harvard Radcliffe Institute.

The final installment in our summer series will feature the author of Everybody: A Book About Freedom (‎W. W. Norton & Company, 2021). A writer and critic, Salamatu is the author of six works of nonfiction and fiction. She writes on art and culture for the New York Times, GuardianFinancial Times, and other publications.

Hajia Salamatu’s reading will be followed by a discussion with Joey Soloway, Emmy Award-winning creator, writer, producer, and director.

The event will also include an audience Q and A.
